There’s nothing shabby about the Sting Ray Shack. This well- appointed, spacious home offers almost 3,000 square feet of living space and is within walking distance of the beach, area restaurants, and Destin’s best shopping. With five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, a new pool and built in fire pit, The Sting Ray Shack is perfect for large family gatherings and vacations. Guests are welcomed to this beautiful home by the large open kitchen and dining room. The living room is furnished with a flat screen television and is equipped with a fire place and sleeper sofa. The deck is accessible from the living room, and opens onto the built in fire pit. Just off the deck is the brand new in-ground swimming pool, and sun deck, which provides plenty of room for entertaining. The landscaping and charming white picket fence offers guests an additional level of privacy. The large kitchen is equipped with top of the line appliances and plenty of counter and cabinet space. The formal dining table has a hidden leaf, which can provide seating for 10, as well as 4 additional seats at the casual breakfast bar. Also located on the first floor is a ½ bathroom and a large laundry room.
The first floor master king suite is calm and inviting, offering guests a small sitting room and access to the deck and pool. The master bathroom boasts a large garden Jacuzzi soaking tub, a standalone shower with glass doors, his and her sinks, and a private water closet. The room also houses a large walk in closet; perfect for stowing extra luggage and beach toys.
On the second floor, guests will find a queen suite, with private bathroom and small covered balcony. The second queen bedroom shares a bathroom with the “double double” room, a good- sized room furnished with two double beds and a balcony. The full second floor bathroom is equipped with a stand-alone shower. The bedrooms all have flat screen televisions. On the other side of the house, there is a separate, second floor “in law suite”. This large studio apartment is furnished with a queen bed, and a bunk bed.. The apartment, which does not have a separate entrance, also has a full bathroom with standalone shower, and a microwave.
The garage has been converted into a game room, complete with a Foos ball table, full refrigerator, and closets dedicated to beach storage. The garage has a separate entrance, which makes access to the yard, pool, and beach easy and convenient . The Sting Ray Shack is a great vacation rental option for large parties and guests who want to be both close to the beach and the action of Destin’s best shopping and dining options.
